Totally Totara

On a beautiful autumn day, with hardly any wind, the Totara Estate had Harvest Home day.
Swaggies (or swaggers?) were everywhere, so were Victorian period garbed people.

So was a coracle maker and a trug maker.

Yours trully was there in his best Victorian garb (carn the Pies!) operating a pedal powered flour mill. The flour was then used for bread making. The mill itself was not made in the Victorian period, but the concept was aptly Victorian. Quite a few people had a go at pedalling including our mayor, Alex Familton.
