With the deluge towards the end of the month (more than one fifth of last year's total rainfall in a few days, mushrooms are popping up everywhere.



Some of them look familiar, but the others look so peculiar.




We went down to the local village library and borrowed a book on mushrooms to see if we can identify them. To be more precise, we want to see if any of them are edible.



In the end, the warnings on the book convinced us not to try, because we were not certain.
