A course for (shaving) horses.

For the last few weeks I've been going to a class in Oamaru to learn woodwork.
It was such fun and I would like to continue learning more.
After all, skills like this will no doubt be handy during the time of energy descent.

The class was held at the disused dining room in Oamaru railway station.
In the old days it served some of the finest meals in the island, if not in the country.
Sadly it is now only used for art and craft courses for Oamaru's Aoraki Polytech.

Lindsay Murray loves his craft and is a very patient tutor.
We learned how to use handtools and made shaving horses.

And, here are my fellow craftsmen (minus Master Bookbinder).
Do we all look like Bill Blair?

The horse Lindsay is sitting on is made by yours truly, well almost.
